The Architecture Engineering course is part of a skills-based learning program through projects, designed for students who are interested in specializing in design, architecture, and arts at the university level. It is a series of hands-on workshops, where we learn to work on an integrated architectural project.

The reason behind this course is that one of the current requirements for acceptance into the College of Architecture and Design is the existence of a Portfolio containing the student's artistic achievements, in addition to taking an examination and an interview for acceptance or rejection. Therefore, this course aims to prepare the student both personally and mentally and sharpen their skills to deserve a seat in the College of Architecture and Design.

The duration of the course is 10 days, divided into 3 hours per day, in which we learn: a general introduction to architectural engineering and the types of architecture, principles of freehand drawing (architectural sketches), principles of architectural drawing (measuring the location or building and learning how to draw it), stages of the architectural project (general explanation + practical application on the required project), as well as (case study + site analysis + data collection).

On the final day, students will present and discuss their projects in front of an audience, in addition to a field visit to an architectural site or engineering office. Some of the most important basic skills that students will learn during this course are: time management, working with a team, taking responsibility, scientific research, imagination, accepting others, presentation and communication, public speaking.

The second level of the Architecture Engineering course is based on projects, in which different projects are addressed at each level, depending on the students' level of knowledge, which provides the student with the opportunity to acquire new and diverse experiences. Some of the projects that have been carried out during previous seasons are: A Future Hashtag Academy (a small university for high school students), Villa, Chalet, House, Farm and Animal Garden, Museum, Restaurant and Cafe, Hotel.

So Hashtat all about staying up to date and connecting with talented people. We bring together all kinds of talented youth and help them discover their skills. Every student needs to know that it's important to figure out what you're good at early on, and Hashtat supports them.

Hiba Alawamla, an engineer, founded Hashtat, a company that specializes in designing educational programs, including the Mini University program. Hiba, during her own university years, realized that her chosen field of study in computer engineering was not a good fit for her. With this experience in mind, after graduating, she decided to create an innovative solution to help students understand the differences between university majors and the majors that align with their abilities and interests. Since 2014, she has been working on the development of the Mini University program and other programs designed to assist students in discovering their desired profession.

Students can join Hashtat at any time throughout the year, and we have four seasons: winter vacation, second semester, summer vacation, and first semester. Each season has its own programs and specific dates. As for the winter and summer holidays: the days of attendance are three days a week over the course of a whole month. As for during semesters: the programs are held once a week, which is on Saturday, and the subscription lasts for two to three months.

But in general, students gains noticeable awareness of their interests and skills, they get a basic and essential understanding of different majors and work fields which makes them qualified to make an aware decision of their university major in the future. Also, we work to enhance their basic skills such as teamwork, communication and presentation.

The Arabic language is the main language used in the programs, while preserving scientific terminology and keeping it in English. As for the trainers in Hashtat, they have the ability to speak both languages; Therefore, we also provide workshops and courses in English only in the event that all students in one branch wish to do so. .

All the coaches working with us are professionals, whether university students or fresh graduates from the major they are studying/studied, they all go through a customized TOT (Training Of Trainers) before they start delivering worskshops.

Yes, our programs are active through the year, in case the student had to miss a workshop for a certain circumstance we contact him when the workshop is to be delivered again on another time. The option of pausing your subscription to continue later is also available.

We have a clear process for refunding the subscription value. Seat reservation fees of 50 JOD are deducted, which is a non-refundable value. As for the rest of the amount, in case the student did not attend any workshops it will be all refunded and in case he attended a part of the workshops they will be deducted from the refund as well
